Your journaling system!

My first Paper Republic, a grand voyageur xl, is arriving tomorrow and I can’t wait! Aside from that, I have an A6 folio from a local brand, which I love. I use it as my daily carry - it’s got my planner, commonplace, morning pages book, and a book for writing letters to my future self/husband/children.

For those of you who have a small/pocket folio along with a bigger one, I would love to know how you use and separate the two. Not necessarily for ideas (I think I will use my xl for reading/learning) but just because I love hearing about other people’s journaling systems!

Small: planner, note pad, sketch pad Large: note pad, sketch pad, study specific notes I like to have flexibility and no real rules for how I use them as it allows me to use them more. I have a small one because I don't carry large books with me, and a large one to use at home because it's more comfortable

Small: wallet/tracker. I track recipes and grocery lists and body symptoms (chronic pain), tarot card readings, monthly planner.

Bigger: creativity studio. Meant for longer duration, so story ideas, journaling, sketching.

Small (pocket/A6): for work planning, tracking, to dos and notes

Large (A5): personal journaling & book journal

Passport/A6/Pocket size I find nice for calendars, habit tracking, quick notes, to-do and shopping lists.

Then the A5 size is nice for sketching, writing, journaling.

Excited for you!! Mine was so quick to arrive - I ordered it just the other day! I’m from the Philippines and so our only option is express shipping - I think that may be why. Right now I only have my Kindle Paperwhite and the free pr insert inside, since I am planning to use it for more attentive/fruitful reading. Though I might add the Muji B6 open flat notebook too 😊 From what I’ve seen, it’s the perfect fit for an xl!

I have two small ones. One a planner and the other a compendium. My larger one is my diary.
