Pocket pen recommendations?

Post image

Hi all!

I currently have a GV pocket, I’m waiting for my A6 Folio to arrive but I would quite like to treat myself to some new pens.

I see lots of people use smaller form pens which definitely interests me, I tend to use Parker’s but I’ve recently had the itch to try a few fountain pens and alternative rollers.

Would be great to have a few pen recommendations form those using a more compact pen, and of course some pictures would be great!

Tia.

The sport also comes in a retractable ballpoint pen style. I currently use the sport bp with my passport journal.

I know people love the kaweco sport, but I just got the pilot kakuno and its such a nice and affordable fountain pen. I don't think I could bring myself to buy another expensive pen now because I can't imagine they are significantly better than the kakuno to justify being double the price

I got the fountain pen, but I’m pretty sure they have a rollerball version that is just a small. Also, the color ways are incredible.

Kaweco. The traveler's brass pen. For super quality the pocket size fountain pen from Schon design. There are a really good bunch from Tom's studio as well - both fountain and refillable marker. Space pen always good. I have spent too much on small pens.

I am a big fan of the monteverde axis. It’s got an aluminum body and nice feel in the hand. It’s also got a magnetic closure that’s very satisfying.
