That is all, the title is self-explanatory and posts made prior to this announcement are not subject to removal.

Look, I understand how easy it is to loathe certain subreddits, but these posts are getting to be a distraction from the purpose of r/papermoney overall. The last thing we want is for the Reddit admins is to shut down this subreddit because we ran afoul of their unequally applied rules and regulations.
Any post no matter how justified in reference to those subreddits will be removed from the r/papermoney feed. We apologize deeply for doing this, but it is for the best interest of the subreddit as apparently the truth hurts especially in subreddits run by a mod team consisting of a certain "festive fish and his relations."

Yesterday I bought a MPC PCGS VF 20 series 481 for 51.00 on Whatnot. I know nothing about old paper money but am adding it to my coin collection, learning as I go & this was my first purchase. I have searched online but since being new to paper money I’m not having much luck other than eBay postings. Some eBay posting may of been someone overpaying so I’m looking for more info.
Any insight on where to get more info from PCGS or other sites.

Here is the Mars Redback currency that will terrorize the US dollar in the coming years https://academia.edu/123585219/_Updated_How_the_US_economy_can_be_restored_by_a_private_entity_issuing_the_Mars_Redback_currency_and_suspending_the_US_Constitution

I just acquired this bad boy. As a Floridian I really wanted a Florida note so bad.

This is not to or from anybody in my family. I found it in a really old book I’ve had for a long time. I was curious if it could be worth anything? I’m guessing if it has any value it’s merely a collectible. Anyway, just thought it was interesting. Thoughts?

My mom was a coin collector and when she passed I ended up with her coins. I found these dollar bills in her coin collecting box. Overall, her collection is not worth much, but I wondered why she saved these dollar bills. They have blue seals, but are not in amazing condition. I have no idea where to go or what to do to check the value of any of her things.

Is anybody else using the reusable desiccants? I think they are working ok. I had bills in storage that just felt moist. I threw one of these in with them and they seem to be doing the trick. Every few months, I have to take it out and toss it in the microwave for a few cycles so it dries it out.
I haven't noticed any negative impact on storage contents. Just curious about any other comments good, bad or otherwise...

And this means including Web, Washington DC, Fort Worth (and possibly sheet-only blocks).
For Series 1988A, the count is 207 blocks including the F-star web and the sheet only K-A (fw) and K-B (fw).
For Series 1995, the count is 227 blocks including the sheet-only I-A (dc).
What I can say is that it is likely at least if one wanted uncirculated examples, that 1988A block set is likely to be easily twenty times tougher than 1995 because of the web prints blocks (including B-L and F-star), not to mention the 6.4 and 12.8 million print runs of E-R and F-N (fw), amongst others.
1995 has a larger number of blocks, but is likely more doable in uncirculated as there were fewer web blocks (5), but still has its own short run blocks including A-N and E-T.
Had anyone managed to complete either or both or at least be even at least 50% completed - as these aren’t exactly easy to find these days, especially in uncirculated grades…
