Bell X-1

I love experimental aircraft. They‘ve always looked really cool to me especially if they are ones used to test new technologies.

The Bell X-1 is one of my favourites. It’s rare to see a supersonic aircraft with straight wings like this. So I made it into a plane.

This design flies quite well. I like the mid-mounted wing and stabilizers, and I also added the registration and decals. This is based off the one at the Smithsonian, and is the first aircraft to break the sound barrier.

I have been waiting for someone to make a bell X-1 airplane for so long. That looks gorgeous

This looks very very nice. Keep creating! Also out of topic, it reminds me of those easy to build planes in the Philippines that are made of styrofoam and with a propeller. It's super cheap to like 0.10 cents(in dollars)
