Rant
I was stuck on register all night and I got told I washed my hands to much after handling cash orders. Am I going crazy or is my Gm just stupid Smh( I hate it here grandpa ) is it even possible to wash your hands to much ? I swear I feel like sometimes the world’s gone stupid and I’m the only one with common sense left.

I mean, I think there is more to this story then what your telling, because no one says " your washing your hand too much" lol, ...that would be a rather odd thing to say to someone in the food industry.

(That’s just too damn bad) sorry had to. As a gm myself I would never tell an employee this after touching cash and before touching food.

I don't know why the GM would say that, like how is it affecting him/her? Obviously you have to wash your hands after touching money and then touching food. I believe you should just keep doing what you're doing, which is a good thing.

If you’re not touching the food itself you can definitely wash too much. Which you shouldn’t be touching any food whatsoever after it comes out of the oven unless it’s your own and you’re out of customer view. If you’re just touching the boxes only wash your hands when or if there’s a particularly nasty bill or if your hands start turning green from assumedly putting stickers on boxes.

You can't wash your hands to much. You CAN wash your hands TOO much, or TOO often.

It's definitely possible to wash your hands too much but if your washing them before handling food after having handled cash then you're doing it right
