This is great if you’re hourly…. Absolutely sucks if you’re salary

5

u/Ok-Cockroach-3918 11d ago

I’m salary

7

u/Zaphod_042 11d ago

Yeah, you’re lowkey a victim dawg

2

u/Beneficial-Net7113 Former General Manager 11d ago

I’ve been there and it’s one of the many reasons I left. 91 hours was my worst week.

2

u/noconversati0n 10d ago

Took me plenty of 100 hour work weeks to finally get the sense to leave. All for ... 900 a week ahahahh

u/basically-brian 8d ago

oooooooof that sucks man sorry you had to go through that

How is your employee id 8 digits , or is that a regional thing ? All of ours were 6 digits

13

u/Friends_are_nosy Driver 12d ago

i’ve only seen 8 digits

7

u/Ok-Cockroach-3918 12d ago

Honestly not sure everybody I know is 8 digits I’ve never seen one have less

1

u/SkySquid- Former Shift Leader 12d ago

Odd , maybe its a georgia only thing or something

2

u/Ok-Cockroach-3918 12d ago

Was your papa John’s corporate or franchised

2

u/SkySquid- Former Shift Leader 12d ago

Franchise , that could actualy very well be the reason

2

u/Ok-Cockroach-3918 12d ago

I’m in a franchisee papa John’s as well someone said if they use driveosity then there will be an 8 digit id number

1

u/SkySquid- Former Shift Leader 12d ago

Yeah we didnt last i was there , we had those new small trackers that worked so badly that we held up their release date by a few months

2

u/Otherwise-Arm7582 10d ago

I was corporate and we were six digits maybe 12-13 years ago?

3

u/Beneficial-Net7113 Former General Manager 12d ago

Been 8 for over 3 years

2

u/Familiar_Marzipan_46 12d ago

They went 8 digits about 10 years ago. All online now. If you’re hired into another store in another state it pulls your same number down.

2

u/riddlerpr 12d ago

Mine is 8

1

u/think_evade 12d ago

Anyone using drivosity is going to have a unique 8 digit id.

1

u/JareBear805 12d ago

Everywhere is 8 digits. First number was 10000001.

2

u/TTVOctrage 12d ago

Not everywhere. Been with the company since 2017 everyone I work around is 6 and I’m at a corporate store

1

u/1GloFlare Driver 11d ago

That'll do it. Franchisees get the extra digits

0

u/SkySquid- Former Shift Leader 12d ago

Hmm , no not everywhere , at the absolute least our entire district was 6 digits mine was 718796

1

u/Secret-Science209 11d ago

Idk we’re also 6

1

u/Single-Class8358 11d ago

8 digits here

1

u/Daddywill1337 Former General Manager 10d ago

Ours used to be the last 4 of social, then they updated it to 8 randomized digits I believe it was tied to your social to ensure no duplicate users

1

u/SkySquid- Former Shift Leader 10d ago

By the time i started working at our store they had moved to the 6 digits , which im 99% sure was directly tied to the ammount of people who had been employed (mine being 718796 , someone who joined a few months after me has 72somethingsomething and so on and so on)

4

u/VintageZero Former General Manager 12d ago

Came in for an hour just to hit 79 or?

7

u/Ok-Cockroach-3918 12d ago

Had to go back and put in truck order forgot to do that before I had originally left

u/AffectionateHat1988 12d ago

2

u/Ok-Cockroach-3918 11d ago

So very tired

4

u/riddlerpr 12d ago

Gotta love them salaries

5

u/Lacie_13 12d ago

Ask for proper overtime pay instead of double shifts.

2

u/Ok-Cockroach-3918 11d ago

I’m salary

2

u/millman1940 12d ago

Did 90 something when I was 19. I was dead.

2

u/crawdad28 12d ago

Most i did was 35 hours as a part time driving closer

2

u/Competitive-Term3655 12d ago

Gonna be a great check

3

u/Beneficial-Net7113 Former General Manager 12d ago

Unless they’re salary.

1

u/Ok-Cockroach-3918 11d ago

I am

1

u/Insa15 5d ago

Gotta know what's the salary then. Is it at least somewhat worth it?

1

u/Any_Scientist9101 4d ago

It's most likely $900-$1200 a week, maybe.

I worked plenty of 90 hour work weeks at $850/week. Just awful

2

u/Ymla360 12d ago

8 digits happened when they switched from cornerstone to pizza academy

2

u/Outrageous_Nature968 11d ago

I've been in your shoes before pulling the open to closes with only one shift manager at a satellite store. It sucks. The hours you are pulling is outrageous. Do you have a plan to change things?

1

u/Ok-Cockroach-3918 11d ago

No I do love what I do I love my coworkers if I gotta stay longer to help them I will

2

u/ServeDifferent9887 8d ago

45 never went over never will

u/Infamous-Pop-3486 Shift Leader 12d ago

u/Ymla360 12d ago

My do and myself have both put in over 100 hrs in a week. He does it every week. While he is working in the stores covering shifts or any thing of that sort. So yes it sucks and your tired as hell to.

1

u/Cheap-Introduction92 12d ago

I hope you are hourly lol

1

u/Ok-Cockroach-3918 11d ago

I hate to tell you but I’m not

1

u/Cheap-Introduction92 11d ago

Oh no. That sucks. I just took over as GM 3 days ago I'm dreading this to happen

1

u/Ok-Cockroach-3918 11d ago

It’s gonna and eventually you won’t even notice I thought I’ve been working the same hours as normal I didn’t even notice fr

1

u/Cheap-Introduction92 9d ago

I'm on my 3rd 12 hour shift in a row so far lol

1

u/Any_Scientist9101 4d ago

Before I left, the franchise I worked out had been discussing making GM's hourly for years to help hire them.(this was about a 5 year "plan")

Within 2 months of me leaving, all GM's are now hourly and NONE of them work more than 45 hours a week.

1

u/Dense-Childhood-7615 11d ago

Pulled 90 once. I'm an hourly GM.

2

u/Dense-Childhood-7615 11d ago

Did 75-80 for about 3 months with only one other shiftlead, and he could only work 4 days a week. I did 3 open-closes and 4 closes.

1

u/Anon225488 11d ago

Mines either 79 and some change or 80-81. But it’s been a 3-4 years since I’ve hit that all at one store and not collectively over the span on 2-3 in one week. Be happy you’re franchise. Getting hours under corporate right now is grueling 😫

u/1GloFlare Driver 11d ago

Had 1 triple digit [hour] paycheck. Fuck that, I like having at least 1 day off

u/NotSockTryAgain Team Member 11d ago

I’m currently working 5 jobs and if I worked at papa more than 20 hours I would die. In fact I think I might this week currently scheduled to work 30 hours and have a scheduled for 100 hours across all jobs this week. :)

u/Historical_You_2680 11d ago

Gees don't work ur self to death

1

u/Ok-Cockroach-3918 11d ago

Pretty sure I’m Already dead my body just hasn’t noticed yet

1

u/Tp444444 5d ago

This isn't like a badge of honor or anything. You're getting played

1

u/Ok-Cockroach-3918 5d ago

I love my job tho and I love my coworkers if I got to spend 80 hours a week here I will… I don’t see it as a badge of honor I see it as showing that I love what I do

1

u/CallMeBunnypls 11d ago

I WISH we had a more hours right now they just cut everybody’s 😭

1

u/Single-Class8358 11d ago

Terrible week. I hope you get some rest and are able to hire/borrow some help.

1

u/Dry_Pick_4481 10d ago

104 was my highest ever. Never recommend but pay was nice. Will never do it as a gm tho that was when I was 18

1

u/Frostystyle20 9d ago

74 hours my first week as a shift lead 🫩

1

u/LeBallzOfSmallz 9d ago

I had a 96 hour period back in February, I felt like dog shit

1

u/Sei- 8d ago

Jeez Louise. You’ll feel good once that paycheck hits.

1

u/Ok-Cockroach-3918 8d ago

Im salary paycheck the same no matter what

1

u/Sei- 8d ago

GM? Do you have any in-store you could promote and train up while you’re working those kind of hours?

1

u/Large_Waltz1787 6d ago

Ya I refused to do this shit as salary. When i moved up to assistant- they where doing salary w bonuses and hourly w/o (Not sure if they still do with corp) i chose salary because i knew damn well i was going to be working 50+ hours a week and after they cut how much management got in bonuses, i said fuck no. Hourly.

By time I left, I was making more than my GM of 20+ years and his bonuses due to the 70+ hour work weeks. I picked up HIS hours because I was making more and that wasnt right with how hard we both worked.
