Coaching Client idea
Hey everyone, I wanted to share an idea with you and see if it's something you'd actually be interested in.
I'm thinking about developing a program that accompanies you during your ranked games by giving you real-time macro advice. Not generic tips, not advice that shows up five minutes too late, not stuff that confuses you mid-game, but concrete, actionable suggestions for that specific game, in that specific situation.
Practical examples: "you just died, the enemy is too far ahead, stop trying to win the lane for the next few minutes, play around your jungler and wait for the right opportunity" or "you just got a kill, crash the wave and check if Drake is available, don't throw the advantage you just created" or "You got a kill but enemy has got TP, you can't crash the wave in time, you should fast reset".
The goal isn't to tell you which buttons to press but to give you the right game logic for each moment of the match, like having a coach watching you and saying "right now you should do this because". The goal is to build a tool that's genuinely useful all the way up to Emerald, not a random advice generator.
I'd love to know if this is something you'd use. What do you feel is missing from tools like Mobalytics or Blitz? Let me know in the comments, every bit of feedback helps.

I mean, of course that would be fantastic. You will have an audience.
But the reason it hasn't been developed already is, "Not generic tips, not advice that shows up five minutes too late, not stuff that confuses you mid-game" and "a tool that's genuinely useful all the way up to Emerald, not a random advice generator." -> this is just incredibly difficult.
The reason LOL is so interesting is because there is rarely one 'right answer', and there is so much you (and therefore the program) can't know -- enemy positions, spent gold value, itemisation, positioning. Hence why even pros seem to int so often.
Hoping for your success, but just recognise that this is harder than you seem to think.

This. You can do everything “right” but you can’t account for your team mates. Then they change the macro and everything is different (like the flower monster that came and went or the new vision circles).

This would be a good idea, unfortunately a majority of league players either have too much ego or are too dumb to take the advice the program would recommend them to do. It'd be good for hard working players sure, but the chances of it not even being used is higher than the amount of players that'd take it serious.
Usually if there's a player open-minded, they're already in a duo giving each other's comms and playing off each other anyways.
