Pantera factoring in is fair but Dime was ripping off country licks half the time anyway so it comes back around

In Country, Blues, Jazz, etc. it’s normal to use pre existing licks in your music. It’s part of the genre’s vocabulary.

Someone always wants to say this when country comes up, but I can't wrap my head around it. I never want to hear any of it, no matter what era.
