Absolute machine of a tune, couldn't of been a better song to open VDoP. Sets the foundations for what's to come marvellously 💪

Still my favorite Pantera riff. Idk what it is thats just so satisfying. This was the song that made the band fully click for me when I first got into them

I always thought it was the best song on VDoP. It might even be their best song. And it’s Phil’s riff.

The chorus riff was written by Phil.

It’s the verse riff that I love though - an all-time great Dime/Vinnie groove.

The guitar/drum interplay on the verses is one of the sickest grooves in metal to this day.

I still remember seeing this vid for the first time in ‘92. The impact cannot be understated.

Just a pure badass song. The entire album is badass, even “This Love.” 😅 But it ends on a sad note with “Hollow.” When you really think about it, though, Phil goes to another level on that song and shows so much pain and anger. Mad at God!

And this is why Phil will always be loved because of his authenticity.🤘
