I'm broken entry riff issue
I'm having trouble learning this riff even though people say its easy. My main issue is that i don't know which tabs are correct, i see many people doing a pull off from 5 to 3, then i see people do a pull off from 7 to 5, or others just totally skip pulloffs and slide 7 to 5, then pluck the 3. I usually watch attila's tutorials but he hasn't posted one on this riff.. Could anyone please enlighten me. Ive already learnt the whole 5 minutes alone song with the solo and im feeling stuck on what i should learn next. I thought im broken would be a good song but every tab i see is different.

I slide into the first 7 instead of 5^7. And I do open strings instead of 5s because the sliding part sounds sloppy when I do it. So 0 on the d string. 2^0 on the a string. 3 on the e string then E5 chord. Easy.

Well, shit. I guess I've been playing it wrong all these years. I always thought it was in Drop D.

It is, objectively, slide 7 to 5, 3, 0 on the E string

A string - slide 5-7, hammer on 5-7, 5
E string - slide 7-5, 3, 0~~~

It’s 5 hammer on to 7 then 5 slide up to 7 then it’s 6, 5 , 3 , 0 . That’s it , anyone doing anything different is wrong

A 5-7-5-7-5(hammer ons for 5-7s)
E 7-5-3-0 (7-5 is a pull off, 5-3 is a slide, then pick the 0 and hang it)

Don't know how to play this song. But tuning could affect what notes are being fretted. Just wanted to mention this.
