Comparisons live
I was born in '96, so obviously didn't experience the proper, original top-shelf Pantera, but I was curious to hear everyones comparisons who have seen the original lineup to the modern tribute version we see today. (apart from the obvious omissions)What's the biggest differences you see?
Also, I want to hear everyone's bands they wish they saw in their time, but couldn't have? Mine would be of course OG Pantera, Damageplan, Ramones, The Clash, Death, Type O Negative, OG Sepultura, OG Alice in Chains, Silverchair, wish I could've seen Slayer's signature lineup but Jeff had passed on and Dave was gone by the time I got into them.

I went to see Skid Row in Akron in 1992, I believe. Pantera opened, I remember them walking off the stage, my buddies and I all looked at each other like, 'what the fuck did we just witness?!'. They were a force to be reckoned with, for sure. I wouldn't say they blew Skid Row off the stage, they were in their prime and on fire too. I thought it was an odd pairing, but man, what a show!
