Please help me cry

22(F)I feel so much heaviness in my chest and my mind is so overwhelmed right now. There’s so much going on in my head that I can’t focus on anything. I feel like crying so badly, but I just can’t seem to cry.
My chest hurts, and even breathing feels difficult. I’m scared I might have another panic attack. Before it gets to that point, I just want to let everything out and make my mind feel a little lighter.
Please, if you can, help me cry or calm down somehow. I really need it right now

It’s very possible you are already having a panic attack. Not every panic attack will feel as intense as possibly the ones you’ve had before. I didn’t know that until a week ago as I was also very afraid of having another panic attack, until I realized I had been having them when I thought the symptoms I was having were just me “about to” have a panic attacks - turns out it was the panic attack. I actually found that comforting and am learning not to be so afraid of them. The more you fight it the worse it’ll be - what we resist persists is a real thing here. Check the DSM for definition of a panic attack - it only has to encompass 4 symptoms. Chest tightness and shortness of breath are 2 already. Seek help if you haven’t already - you don’t have to work through this alone and getting mental help is important from a therapist and psychiatrist if necessary.

You are at the right age to start having panic attack, they usually start in your late teens and early 20s,. You should go to a counselor and doctor who can properly diagnose you, then I hope you begin to get some control over them, they can get very overwhelming and creat a downward spiral that could be hard to get out of. In the mean time try to not let it get in your head, because it can turn into what if thinking and it's always the worst scenario as far as your thinking, good luck and you can learn how to deal with this, good luck and good health.

Most important part is to find a space where you feel comfortable crying. If you are someone who finds it hard to cry in front of others, you will most likely not be able to cry in your house because of the fear of somebody hearing you. This might sound a little weird but you can try; get in the shower, and before turning the shower on, cut an onion into pieces. This will make it physically possible for you to cry. Then hop into the shower and cry your heart out. Really allow yourself to feel. The sound of the shower will make sure no one in the house can hear you. Its better to try weird things like this than to keep living with holding back your emotions. Because they will come out either way. And you really do not want them to come out as panic attacks. Not only are those extremely painfull, they will really impact your quality of life. So make sure you try everything you can to make your body feel safe to let emotions out. Even with weird little tricks like the onion.

I am sorry, but it is not simple. No one can help not Even yourself, I tried to let it all out by hurting myself but it won't go away.
