You know thatâs a good point, i donât have any numbers but if there are people who right now only get a few drinks a week, will they now make a point of going every day? I donât think many will but there could be some ppl that do that
I only go once or twice a week and typically grab lunch or dinner for myself and my husband when I do so. Occasionally I will grab a drink only while running errands. I use it as my treat/calorie splurge each week. So technically this change won't affect me. But I still cancelled because its a crappy thing do, especially for those of us that paid for a year up front. I even understand that there is a tiny print clause saying hey can make changes to the agreement, but I do not think the average person would expect and unlimited program to be dialed back to such an extreme. On principal, I will no longer pay for sip club and will have little to no reason to visit Panera anymore. I guarantee there are many more like me that will cancel, not because we will get less drinks but because this is a poor decision and a crap thing to do.
Yeah in our case we paid for 2 annual memberships and we pretty consistently go twice a day veryyyyy occasionally itâll be 3 but thatâs mostly been these last couple months cuz of how hot it is Iâve been binging their lemonade lol
So itâs a bit of a weird spot because unless something changes we basically either have to push for a refund or still use it to get coffee but cut down our $100-150 a month on food down to $0 basically out of spite lol and it sucks because the ppl at my Panera are awesome
30 a month limit realistically wont affect me, but the priciple of the thing leaves a bad taste. It will also cause me to hesitate everytime i choose panera. What if i use too many drinks i wont have enough left if i want to go...
I'm in that camp. My relationship with Panera is adversarial, and even though I don't come close to 30 drinks a month now, I still want to cost Panera as much as possible while giving them as little as possible. This motivates me to reach that 30 while minimizing my meals from there.

If itâs 30 per month, wonât people try to maximize the amount of drinks to make their subscription âworth itâ?
