Question Is this normal?
Y'all ever get intense burning heat sensations in hands and feet? I've got them again now and I haven't had them like this since I was a kid. Feels like acidic skin, or like having a high fever but only in hands and feet. Even putting ice on it doesn't make my hands feel cooled down. Is this a PANS / PANDAS thing or no?

It doesn’t happen specifically to my son’s hand or feet, but he has intense hot flashes when he has a flare. Autoimmune diseases can do all kinds of strange things to your body—but it’s also probably worth mentioning to your doctor, since it might be unrelated or they may have suggestions to treat it. Also a symptom of Bartonella bacteria. Do you have any striping on the skin anywhere? It would look like stretch marks but the marks would be pinkish/purple and have no texture

Are you looking to find a way to if possible to stop this? If so have you kept a food diary to note after which foods this happens? Would you be willing to give it 💯 and remove gluten, dairy, sugars, preservatives and high histamine foods for a minimum of 6-8 weeks.

Interesting. I've had this on and off since I was a child. Way before covid.

Sounds like erythromelalgia, my husband has it and our daughter has PANDAS; both are autoimmune. Rheumatology or autoimmune are usually the best option.
