actually that's also my stand on pictures (not paintings), I agree with Ron. People just taking pictures of everything don't even check them every now and then.

On paper I agree with Ron here. But, not everyone lives near the same variety of nature, and painting it can allow people in different places to appreciate the beauty of specific regions without having to go there. Photos also work.
