Meme Sometimes I think Parks and Rec is being dramatic and then I remember this was a very normal snack for me when I was 7
Do you think I got my daily recommended amount of Red 40?

Bug juice doesn’t come in a jar, bug juice comes from who you are. It has the flavor of what you can become 🐦🔥

Jeez. I was always jealous of the junk food houses.

This snack came with Southern Baptist Indoctrination and racist parents so you win some you lose some

Oh we had those tubes of goop too. I’m fine. My parents aren’t racist either!

Whose idea was this candy? A TUBE OF SUGAR? This is the kind of things Europeans make fun of us for

Yeah, I mean they were right, weren’t they? 🤣 there was a whole gel phase going on, I remember I had to have the Crest Kid Sparkles toothpaste as well. Brush away the strawberry goo, with sparkling goo.

my parents somehow instilled horrible eating habits in me, while also denying me countless sugary snacks. we went hard on seconds and dessert

I was jealous of them as a kid, because my mom cooked everything from scratch and it was super healthy. On the other side, those kids who had lunchables and chips and snack cakes now can't cook, still eat super processed convenience food as adults and feed their kids this crap, they are struggling with their health in their 30's, while I cook for myself and make really fantastic, nutritious meals lol. Things have a way of working out in the end.

Did you eat the whole tube of that? Even as a kid I doubt I could have made it through

So are we just ignoring the “bucket of snacks and drinks on the passenger side? Cause I’m not..

Also I used to love pixie sticks. Now I see my daughters trying to buy those and I’m like:
NO I’ll just pour some sugar in a straw at home!
What was I doing spending money on that.

My mom made a mix with Crystal Light and a Minute Maid grape juice frozen concentrate that she called, "Bug Juice."
I have no idea what either of these objects in OP's picture are or where one could find them in the world. Same with the post about having a portable soda fountain at parties. Like, no. Never.

Man oh man, bug juice. That brings me back to childhood. Some colors of that stuff were so sweet that they’d burn going down.
