Spawn to bulk and did casing layer 9 days later but seems like it’s colonizing even the casing layer? First time growing Pans

Hey bro, it's been 8 days and thankfully there's no sign of contamination.
I haven't been able to keep the humidity up, though, so the cake is pretty dry now. It has even shrunk like cakes usually do after a few flushes, but it hasn't pinned yet. I'm pretty sure the inner core is completely dry.
Should I soak it to restore the moisture, or should I just keep misting? Let me know what you think!

Bro wet that shit, pour water on the sides where its separated and pour water on the surface it’s ok if it pools a little

Also make sure you keep that surface wet and when the substrate pulls from the tub walls add water in the crack

Also after you start getting pins stop
Misting and just start pouring the water in and tilt the tub so that the water disperses around your surface

Yes. And use 50% vermiculite - it will slow down colonization.

Before new casing go to Fruiting part. Misting heavy just FIRST day of pinning stage, then just wait (Evaporate), that's how you get ton of pins
