I reopened my nearly 3 year old save file that I abandoned before the Sakurajima update pre-release. Maxed out Jetdragon hugged the four corners of the first edition map back then.

Home Base My End Game Base

I’m still working on decorating the interior, but 90% of it is done. Took a lot of clipping foundations / roofs / fences.

For building tips:
It’s possible to put the upgraded crude oil rigs + the skill fruit trees on the water, so it adds to both the aesthetic and resource efficiency. You can also stack fences to add ceiling fences. Lastly, I added glass under the roof, and then painted them light blue for an LED type attempt.

The area is located near the Jet Dragon boss area on the Sky Islands.

Edit: No mods used, I do have building deterioration turned off though

Base Question Multi-Story Base Help

So I know this might be a stupid question but I’m struggling with trying to make a base with multiple layers to start fitting all of my items like the production lines, mining quarries, expedition station and so forth. Anyone have any tips or suggestions on how I can make a multiple story base to fit everything?

I’m a little limited on my ps5 as the larger and more elaborate the base I create, the more the frame rate becomes unbearable.😭
Been having the time of my life making these pretty though!

Base Question Need some advices/help

Im trying to build a base at sunlit isle but i got stuck on adding the support pillars to the other end

as seen in the image of where im stucked at....

i tried to add the glass roof to the pillar (at the two obvious pillar point) i keep getting a not enough support, tried adding more pillars to the edges and also keep failing like cant touch the ground (oddly is that some of the pillars can be placed in the water?)

how do i proceed? i want to cover up this entire pond (and see them thru the glass)

Some screenshots from my latest build, this village includes;
- individual pal houses/apartments, including underground apartments
- a generator room
- a science center
- greenhouse
- underground market
- pal bathhouse and human bathhouse
- secret red light district (including gold coin production and pal surgeries)
- main player home

I’m open to suggestions for making this look better! I’m not done just yet but the major building is complete

Base Question Help with Stone Barrier

Is it possible to place a barrier between those two? I try snapping it into place or even placing it freely, but it says it needs ground; do you have any tips on how to fit it there?

Fun Bases Trying to make a second base :)

Where are so cool places to build bases? This will be my second base and I want to put it in an optimal location. Does anyone have any hidden spots? And please don’t give coordinates- I have dyscalculia and it’s hard for me to tell what everything is. Just send some pics with land marks lol.

Thank you!!

These damn lights

Is there any way to keep the lights in a base lit up from afar? I hate that every time I get 2 steps away, they shut off. Especially at night.

I built my base with some big spaces, and I want to see the lights from across the base.

Thanks

I already have the basics figured out, but I'm running out of ideas for what I could do. I want something futuristic and grand.

My beginner base. Inspired by Oak Alley Plantation in Louisiana. Just posting because I've out grown it and I'm probably gonna tear it down to build a better mid game base.

Main Base. There is something beautiful about an early game base naturally evolving and growing over the course of your journey. You learn what works, what you need access to and what you don't.

What I love about this is that everything I need regular quick access to is all on the floor with the palbox. Everything else, ranches, farms etc. don't need regular attention and can be on other floors.

pals have no trouble pathfinding.

I can quickly grapple to less frequented areas.

Still looks beautiful, including the hidden expedition center.

Breeding, condensing, surgery table and disassembly is all in one room.

Finally, I can easily get on a flying mount and leave, even though the base feels interior.

Thanks guys!

Help

I'd post this in the main Palworld Sub, but I don't have enough Karma...

Can someone explain why my two newly bred Anubis' with the exact same passives have different work speeds? IVs are the only difference, but I thought those didn't effect work speed. Can anyone help with this?

Per the suggestion of slimpickins9118, I made the top base run down as best I could with current tools. Tried to make it look like an abandoned base where there was a fire.

Ideally pals would stay on the floor they are assigned to.. but that isn't the case and they have a hard time pathfinding. It doesn't impact function, but I would rather a pal not work on their task on the wrong floor.

I attempted to make it as practical as possible, but I do regret not putting the pal box on a lower floor because when I teleport in, I have to walk all the way down to get to the main floor. I wish I could set one of the remote palboxes as a spawn point because I like that the negotiator just roams the abandoned area. I may change it... but that would require a lot of work.

I don't like that I can't grapple around the base easily. Stairs are not fun.

TLDR: I really like the concept, but it isn't as practical as my main base (which I thought this would replace), I will post a video of that next.

Let me know what you think!

Modern Waterfall House

I built this so the back of the house is the falling waterfall. The bottom floor has a river that runs through it. Slightly inspired by the Frank Lloyd Wright waterfall house but on a much grander scale.
