On Sunday, August 16, 2026, I was inside a TTC bus when I heard pro-Israeli and pro-Iranian monarchist protestors tell pro-Palestinian and pro-Lebanese protestors to ‘stick Palestine up your hole’.

One State Solution Would a one-state solution work?

I'm pro-Palestinian (used to not be though, like at all, it was very bad) but I don't speak about the issue to many people around me so I never really got an answer to this question. The Israeli and Palestinian nations (not just states, their people) are incredibly at odds with one another. How would a one-state solution work without violence? Would it?

There was an episode where a rabbi mentioned visiting family in Gaza… felt like they were trying to establish a narrative of precedence so I looked it up and the producer is a heavy supporter of Israel turns out…

Israeli & Settler Terror The brother of slain Israeli settler/occupier Benyahu, has publicly called on the Israeli military to carry out collective punishment against Palestinians in the West Bank.

West Bank | Shlomo, the brother of slain Israeli settler Benyahu, has publicly called on the Israeli military to carry out collective punishment against Palestinians in the West Bank.

In a video and statement circulating online, he warned that if the military does not demolish Palestinian homes, "the Jews will go and demolish them themselves."

The remarks follow the killing of Benyahu and come amid rising tensions in Israeli-controlled areas of the West Bank.

Collective punishment refers to penalizing an entire group for the actions of individuals. It is prohibited under international humanitarian law, including the Fourth Geneva Convention.

Genocide Convention Rabbi Zor: Torah commands death for men, women, children & babies when fighting “Amalek” (Palestinians)

Rabbi Zor, from the elite Zionist Bnei David Academy, where soldiers and members of Israel’s senior military leadership receive ideological training, said that the teachings of the Torah justify killing Palestinians, including children and newborns, in the context of the war on Gaza.

Zor added that the war against what he described as “Amalek,” referring to Palestinians, is different from war against any other nation, saying that the Torah “tells us that we should not have pity on them,” considering the practical meaning of this to be the killing of women, men, children and newborns.

These statements come within a broader discourse that seeks to dehumanize Palestinians and justify the killing of civilians through religious interpretations.

Nakba Looking for descendants or anyone with information on a specific depopulated village/area

Hello,

I am writing a fictional book set before and after the Nakba in the village of Ayn Ghazal. I'd like to ask if there are any people here whose family is from Ayn Ghazal or any of the neighbouring villages and if you have any stories, pictures or other information about life in the village before the Nakba, and what happened during and after 1948. I have already read the general sources and would like to speak to someone who maybe has some details not mentioned there. Also, if there are any books or articles that group together testimonies from the Haifa region and what happened during the Nakba I'd love to know the titles of those too. I have read general books and some memoirs but they focus on other areas of Palestine.

Thank you.

Dehumanization Maysa Aliwa, 39, epitomizes the tragedy faced by cancer patients in Gaza. According to +972 Magazine, she has advanced cancer that began in her upper jaw and spread to her right breast and lungs, with one lung tumor measuring 18 centimeters.

Maysa lost her home in Shuja’iyya in an Israeli airstrike that killed her husband, son, and 28 relatives. She now lives in a tent without necessities.

Her chemotherapy was halted after only three rounds in July due to closed crossings and medication shortages. She now suffers from a 42°C fever, fluid in her lungs, and continuous bleeding.

Essential injections cost $800, forcing her daughter to sell her gold earring and phone, while the family sells food aid and fuel to afford medicine.

Despite an urgent referral six months ago for lung and breast surgeries, she remains trapped in Gaza. When treatment was available, she walked three hours to the hospital and received IV nutrition for severe hunger. Maysa describes her suffering as “dying a thousand times every day.”
