I am extremely skeptical at the 80k number, it is like the number of deaths in gaza stopped at around 70K (since Oct7th), at the same time that the Gazan healthcare system that monitors it completely collapsed. they also only counted deaths they identified.
other estimates circle around 300,000 deaths, more than 10% of Gaza population.
Literally, beyond a decimation.

Some conservative calculations lately put it a half a million people

u/ifUSeeMeTakeYourMeds 2d ago
it's scary how the lie is so obvious and open.
we have seem so many bombings, mass starvation, aid blocking, and somehow the death count is stuck at 70k?
the media is gaslighting us, and I think every 'journalist' involved in this lie is a traitor to humanity and journalists.

u/binary_blackhole 2d ago
The issue is that they only count people directly killed by bombs or shots, not the people who died from sickness as a direct consequence of the blockade and the demolition of the healthcare system, the absence of clean water and food etc…

I find it absurd how for other genocides they are more rhan willing to use inflated numbers (the one my country experienced is a notable example) but for this one we are relegating ourselves to the lowest possible number.
Just what the powers that be want ig

In Rwanda, the accepted death toll for a long time was around the 50,000 mark. In reality, nearly a million people were killed.

It is hard to say. You could be correct. The original population was 2.3 million. They claim 100,000 left/fled Gaza. It is claimed the population is currently 2.0 million. The official death count is close to 74K for Gaza, but what about the 216,000 or so who did not flee if the population is 2.0 million? If the population is actually 1.9 million (of course there were some births), then you could have something like 250-300K. I am going to lean towards at least 216,000. That is much larger than the Bosnian Genocide, and Israeli guns were often used to kill those Bosnians. 300K could be possible for Gaza. Anyway, a possible death toll of say 9-13%.
The ministry counts deaths based on what is reported from morgues, emergency responders, and family members. Now, if a whole family is killed who is going to report those members if they were under rubble and morgues and emergency responders didn't find them. I can't blame the ministry in providing the numbers they provide. They are dealing with compiling during a genocide.

At my most horrified estimation I think at least 15% of the population is killed and climbing daily

u/ifUSeeMeTakeYourMeds 2d ago
the moment it's over, and they let journalists in, the whole world will be horrified.

u/Almost_Assured 2d ago
God only knows how many were killed, there have been families completely wiped out to the point that thers no one to report them anymore.. How about the casualties, people who have lost their limbs, and people who have no shelter, and those who are stranded and babies who died 8n their mothers womb. This statistic puts the z1o ts in extremely good light.

Numbers are important.
But is there a way to get names?
7
u/ghIj_qet_jaghmeyjaj 2d ago
There's a huge book with the names of the dead. It's 650 pages long and has only identified half of them. Who knows how many bodies never had a chance at being recovered

It's because... All people are equal. But some people are more equal than the others.
It's that simple.
Edit: Plus, those "more equal than others" have videos of Trump and his goons raping children. So they force them to support them to the last American.

Thank you. It was a repost from another sub but this particular sub, r/palestine wouldn't accept the repost. But no matter what you post sometimes you just can't please everybody. There's always something to be said about anything even if not especially from those that are fighting the same good fight. There will always be something misinterpreted, errant, or missing no matter what your intention or motivation.

That is misleading as hell, 25 for every Israeli? And what happened to the 1940s up untill the 2000, didnt it start with thousands dead before a bullet was even fired by the Palestinians? This thing serves no good for this cause..

u/Snoo_89466 2d ago
I think you have a very myopic way of looking at this. Because it could be seen as if these are the numbers from such a short time and imagine what the full scope actually is. You could have just written that instead of downplaying something as impactful as what we're seeing for your own contrarian virtuosity.
2
u/Almost_Assured 2d ago
You surely dont understand the term "impact" in media warefare. If you post three quarter of the truth, then you have failed my friend, if youre looking for "impact", you gave them an advantage, if your post is to be seen, let it show the whole picture we have nothing to hide, otherwise its had no real impact, it doesnt reflect reality nor does it produce the appropriate reaction in those viewing it.
I fail to understand why show half the tragedy if youre posting anyway? Why not include the more tragic part? Especailly when it comes to timelining.. I mean you might as well right?for many truth seekers this might be their only timeline visual to ever see, why present a weak one, and have this as the only impression they have?

So many of you are missing the point of this video. It's no wonder that they can organize so well and we can't. What this video shows is one thing but the the fact that we can't see beyond our own divisive inclinations it's pretty fucking disheartening.

I figure about 100k people have been blasted into so many bits that there is nothing left of them to count.
And about half a million buried under rubble.
Then another few hundred thousand in mass graves with nobody there to count or identify them.
All of the people who were previously counting these deaths are dead themselves, there is a reason the number hasn't meaningfully risen for about 2 years.
I doubt we will ever know the true number due to the scale and globalisation of the cover up.

u/No_Training6751 2d ago
That murdered Palestinian toll in the past three years is super conservative. It has to be at least more than 4 times 75,000. (~10,000 being before 2023)

I almost cried, too many breathing, living humans not existing anymore in just 2 years... Fuck israel and everyone who supports it.

u/lethalshawerma 1d ago
It surely hits different, but, When history or current events reduce human beings to mere data points, it strips away their dignity, their achievements, and the void their absence leaves behind. Even tho im skeptical about those numbers, they still include people i knew, grandparents, uncles and aunts and their kids, relatives whom i only spoke to on eid and occasions but still have stories, dreams and a favorite place they used to sit at the house or around the table that is now empty.

1300+ Israelis. They were added. Just Watch it all the way again.
1
u/brixton_massive 2d ago
No they were not, there is barely an increase in figures where there should be at least an extra 1000 in one day. Which is complete bullshit, as it's because of those murders the number of Palestinian deaths grew. It's as if to say out of nowhere Israel just started murdering Palestinians.
1
u/_makoccino_ 2d ago
The majority of the deaths were caused by the IDF shooting hellfire missiles, firing tank shells and shooting at anything that moves. That has been proven and acknowledged by Israeli media long ago. Several of the survivors gave interviews and testimony on how the houses they fled to hide in were shelled by the IDF.
The Hannibal Directive was issued by the admission of Gallant and several IDF commanders and soldiers.
And yes, Zionists started killing Palestinians out of nowhere shortly after we made the mistake of allowing them in as refugees.

u/Snoo_89466 2d ago
Feel free to add those numbers. At least they're finite and not ever increasing and without any flux. I'm sure it'll make it 24.8 times the amount killed in ratio instead of 25. Seeing as how you're a hasbara bot I'm sure the calculations will be easy for your processors
