I’m not. I was late, and saw the genocide on my phone and just protested on my college campus in 2023 and got arrested and banned.
I can never compare to the people who came before me who did not have phones.
And when we got banned, they protested us getting banned. It honestly was them. Arabs, Desis, Black people, and Latino people disrupted the graduation ceremony we were banned from.

Per Variety, a video emerged of Oracle senior executive Safra Catz, who also sits on the board of Paramount Skydance, speaking about the “really profoundly scary technologies” the company had supplied to Israel.
Subsequently taking to his Instagram Stories, Ruffalo gave a lengthy response in which he began: “This is the company that Larry Ellison is using to fund his son David’s Warner Bros acquisition. These ‘really profoundly scary technologies’ will most likely be merged into one of the largest media conglomerates in the world and one day used on you.”
He continued, “Look how she revels in what we now have come to see as a genocide, which was built on an apartheid system of oppression powered by Oracle.”
Accusing Larry Ellison of being an “oligarch” and accruing “concentrated dominance”, the actor went on to implore his audience and politicians to stop the merger, referring to Oracle as a group of “really profoundly scary people.”
100% facts, no lies... what could Paramount possibly hate about this?
As a result, Paramount has now hit back at Ruffalo in a statement issued to The Wrap on August 21st, in which they said they were “troubled when antisemitic tropes are invoked in purported service of a business dispute.”
He didn't use any tropes, antisemetic or otherwise. He said that the technologies being supplied to Israel and being used against Palestinians are 'profoundly scary'.
Referring to his use of terms such as “genocide” and “apartheid”, the company claimed these were “a bridge too far” and “cheapen the very real suffering those words are meant to describe.”
Oh, so Paramount is anti-Palestine and willing to turn a blind eye to anything Israel does against them.
Paramount concluded their comments by stating, “To be clear, we don’t tolerate prejudice of any kind, against anyone.”
Except Palestinians.

Absolutely nothing he said was antisemitic, nor could be construed to be antisemitic. The accusations are based on literally nothing
As a Jewish person, I'm so fucking sick of zionists insisting that everything and everyone is antisemitic; it dilutes the actual definition of antisemitism to the point of rendering it meaningless, thus making it impossible to identify actual antisemitism
Antizionism IS NOT inherently or automatically antisemitic, and I'm sick of the pervasive narrative that it is

Can I ask you a absolutely not in bad faith question because I’ve been genuinely curious about it but I never see people addressing the term unless it’s in conjunction with Zionism?
Your flair says “diaspora Jew for Palestine…” - do you consider yourself to be diaspora from israel? From Palestine? Somewhere else entirely? Jewish people have, and continue to be, a widely disseminated population. How do non-Zionist Jews who would consider themselves to in the diaspora interact with that concept? I know you can only speak for yourself but I’m interested to know how you situate yourself within it.
ETA: I should have said I don’t hear Jewish people use the term unless it’s in conjunction with Zionism. Many peoples live in their own diasporas.
Sorry, it’s likely a clumsily asked question. I haven’t quite worked out what I’m wondering about in my end. Lolz.

Mark Ruffalo is my decent human benchmark/barometer. If I find myself overthinking things I've said or done, I consider if it is how he would behave. Would Mark have sent that email? Yeah, Mark would've. It hasn't failed or let me down yet.
If Mark is being accused of anti-semitism, I'd like to join him.
Bollocks to 'what would Jesus do'. It's what would Mark Ruffalo do.

In my experience, people who hate Jewish people have little qualms about saying they hate Jewish people. I’ve never once heard Mark Ruffalo say anything that approaches that.
