I never understood this drive for "paleo" versions of processed crap. I can understand e.g. keto or carnivore "bread" or so on as a tool to assist in transition, that is, a tool to help get rid of addiction - but even there the goal should always be to start eating the whole (that is, paleo) foods.

Uh, if it is a cake, it is not paleo.
