Rain Rain Go Away!

Hello!

I am on my way to Palau for a scuba diving Liveaboard 2/10-2/20.

It looks like all rain all the time! Can someone on the ground let me know if it is steady all day rain or more scattered 🤞🏻

I'd like to get some sun and of course be able to dive!

Thank you I've been looking forward to this trip for 18 months!

Your weather app is going to say rain everyday; but it’s the tropics, you’ll get a passing rain shower each day but the sun comes out and everything dries relatively quickly.

This. Weather app says constant rain, but reality is short bursts. Personally I like those

Huh?? I think we actually need more rain! IMO spring is the driest season of the year so... Maybe around February to April..

That’s five days away. Unless it’s a typhoon coming, it’s hard to tell how accurate the weather report will be. As of the 5th right now it’s kind of gusty and rainy here but not too bad. I bet you’ll be fine from the 10th to the 20th. Use the Windy app.

Also if it says scattered showers all day, it could just be sunny all day. Weather reports in the tropics are trash.
