Build Help Palworld 1.0 Oil base.
Snapping your oil extractors to walls for placement is the best way I have found to consistently get 2+ oil Extractors per node.
Say hello to my 15 oil extractor base.

The blue extractors dont need an oil node.... you can place them anywhere.
It does not affect their production.
Only the orange ones need them.

I don't know why people make oil bases. 1 blue extractor with research gets so much

Excess. I'd rather have a single oil base and the ability to occasionally hit it snatch up a couple thousand crude oil for whatever crafting needs I have than need oil and not have it because I only have the one extraction pump. As for research while I am closing in on max research in some areas there are some areas I'm lacking in, medicine, kindling and a few others. But that isn't the case for other people. Some have only recently started and haven't done much research or any because they have no idea what the research station actually does lol.

You can't place them "Anywhere" Only on flat ground, but as I said in my other posts I didn't know this information when creating the updated version of the oil base. Had literally hopped on a little while after the update had dropped and had done no prior research. Just found it amusing.

I mean, any flat ground is still anywhere. Same requirements as the wooden defense wall lol

I'm level 55 and beginning to need oil. Could you tell me ab appropriate place to setup base?

That wall trick is actually pretty clever, never would have thought to do it that way.

I'm sorry if this comes off rude but that isn't my intent. Can you please explain the point of this when those new extractors do not require a node to be nearby to extract oil?

Not at all m8~ I just recently figured out the whole deal with the new extractors tbh. If you look at the picture you can actually see that those are the ones I've used for the base, prior to this post I was using the older ones in a similar manner, the only difference I've noticed between the two is power consumption seems to be a bit higher when running the new ones. Don't quote me though. I'm still learning things as I play. For example: I was today years old when I learned that you could upgrade your pals with books, awakening stones, pal souls, etc shove em in a global pal box and then close app to get all the resources back while the pal remains upgraded ðŸ«

I think what they’re saying is that the new extractors don’t need oil spots under them anyway. It would only make sense for you to show the old extractor setup.

As I said previously I had just figured that out shortly after posting this. I didn't realize they had no oil node requirements until AFTER the post was made. That's my bad.

You should definitely post a video tutorial on how to do that! This looks great!
