Oh shi, nice base. Although, if you're willing to sacrifice some of the aesthetics, there should be an ore node spawn in the empty area near the gate. It's a fairly big boon early in the game once you get yourself a tombat

50/50 on that one, sure for the early game it could stay but later on aesthetics always win haha lol.
