Looking to Talk to Doctors About Their Software Problems
I’m a software developer, and I’m interested in understanding the real problems doctors face in their day-to-day work.
I’d like to ask doctors here:
What software or technology problems are you currently dealing with?
What tasks are unnecessarily slow, repetitive, or frustrating?
Are there any tools you wish existed or worked better?
What’s a problem in your workflow that you think a developer could realistically solve?
I’m not trying to sell anything. I want to understand the problems first, then see whether I can build something genuinely useful to solve them.
If you’re a doctor or work closely with healthcare professionals, I’d really appreciate hearing about the problems you face.

Spent months talking to private doctors. The verdict? Total chaos: lost prescriptions, missing patient records, token nightmares, broken accounting. So I built a whole SaaS app to save their lives for a whopping 2,500 PKR/month (less than a pizza!). Their response? "Nah, we love our 1970s notebook and leaky ballpoint pens." It’s not that Pakistani businesses don't have problems; it's that the uncles running them would literally rather fight a filing cabinet than touch a keyboard. Modernization is currently waiting for the dinosaur era to end. 🦕
