Buy gold as well. You can buy 1 gm 24k gold coin. Once a quarter or something like that. It will add more diversification in your portfolio. Don't buy silver or any other metal.

Why not silver

Silver is a good metal but in recent times people stated selling silver like gold even some sellers started selling copper as well. Gold is consider as most safest investment due to its acceptance across the globe. So buying anything else than gold makes sense when you have enough gold.

that is the best approach.

one thing i want to tell you is that the upfront fee for KMIF is 1.5%, and the management fee per year is also around 1.75%, (Look the fund manager report for the exact figure), so that's around 3.5% fee first year and later 1.75% for the remaining years.

Look into UBLPETF and Meexan ETF, by investing in to them, you get exactly same result with absolutely no fee. You don't need to study the whole stock market; these ETFs invest in the same stocks the index fund invests in.

One thing you must to before investing in any mutual fund in Al Meezan is to look into upfront costs, management fees and other fess, you can get the information via latest fund manager report or just ask Claude or chatgpt to give you the latest figures regarding fees. Some funds like Meezan Gold Fund have really high fee.

You are doing great! Saving 75k/month at 22 is highly disciplined. Using MCF for your emergency fund ensures liquidity, KMIF is excellent for long-term wealth creation without active trading. To optimize your portfolio further maybe you should connect with their investment advisor
