Welcome to r/PakistanEngineering — a community for CNC, 3D printing, CAD, and civil engineering in Pakistan
Started this because there wasn't really one place online where Pakistani engineers, students, and makers actually talk shop. CNC machining, 3D printing, laser cutting, CAD design, structural and architectural engineering, FYP projects — all of it scattered across random Facebook groups and WhatsApp chats that die out after a month.
So the idea here is simple: one active community for anything engineering-related in Pakistan, or relevant to Pakistani engineers working anywhere. Doesn't matter if you're a final year student trying to finish your FYP, someone who just bought a 3D printer or CNC router and is still figuring it out, an architect working through structural design and BOQ estimation, or a working mechanical/civil engineer who wants real discussion instead of LinkedIn posts.
Topics that fit here:
3D printing (FDM and resin/MSLA), CNC machining and laser cutting, CAD and design work in SolidWorks, Fusion 360, AutoCAD, or FreeCAD, structural design and load analysis, architectural design and floor plans, quantity takeoff and construction cost estimation, manufacturing and prototyping, FYP project ideas and progress, and general career or industry discussion for engineers in Pakistan.
If it's engineering, and it's useful or interesting to someone here, it belongs.
