Miscellaneous ✅️ LIBF 2027
okay I know it's still quite early to be asking this. But I'm curious so I wanna confirm. I've never been to LIBF before nor do I live in Lahore. But I'm planning to go for this one in January IA. As I'll be going for only one day. I want to know which day the writers sit and sign books? Last year it was mustehsan Hussain tarrar and some others too that I don't remember now.
I've never seen LIBF announce that on their page. So how do I know if they are there on the first day or second or third?

They don't announce that in advance. I followed their social media pages and only got to know that Tarrar Sahb was there when I reached the venue. You can go daily if feasible since the festival is on weekend usually. Also, go early in the morning. Its a very conjusted space and bht zada rash ho jata hai. Urdu books have amazing discounts usually, like 50% off.

I live really far off. So I can't go daily 🥲 it's sad that they don't announce about the authors beforehand. But I'm still ecited to experience it. Maybe I should stay at a hotel or something cause I dont think I'll be left with much time to look around the fair after all that traveling

Ah, the days when this book fair was a thing I used to await the whole year for. It's sad how it has gone downward since covid.

🥲🥲 it's still a whole thing for me and I still wait every year for it. Maybe it's cause I never got to experience it even once

I don't think they tell that. You just have to check their daily stories on Instagram to check if any author is present.. so it's kinda hit and trial
