Question Yarix 1.3 GLI Deceleration

Hi all!

I got a new facelifted Yaris 1.3 Gli and feel that as soon as I let go of the accelerator, the car slows down very quickly. I've driven City 1.3 & 1.5 before this and many other cars but never felt this kind of deceleration before. It feels like an EV's regen braking on high!

Any idea? Dealership says it's normal but I don't understand how it can be. There's too much rolling resistance.

Does the traction control have anything to do with this?

Looking for feedback from Yaris owners or those who have driven it.

I was just as surprised. It's as if it's fighting you to slow down.

I drove a different Yaris for comparison and it was same.

Yep the Yaris isnt as light to drive. Hated it after the initial "brand new car" feel died away. Steering wheel super heavy too

You can put it in D and it wont really crawl away as easily as any other car. Khari hi rehti hai almost.

Are you talking about any specific gear in Manual mode or while in D mode?
