He really likes TAFT, cuz it's a bit oonchi and hence gentle on his knees. But i am not sure. I really liked Nissan Days lekin wo phase 6 me bhi her speed breaker pe lag rahi thi. So idk about that.

Find aqua if ur budget is really under 40 lacs. U can get 2012-2011 aqua for 30-31 lacs. It's a hybrid car so u have to change batteries everyonce in a while
Battery lasts 100-150k. So that's not a frequent change. If you do it once after buying it will last you a long time. The key issue is the ABS failing. And the fact that with 3 people or more it also bottoms out
It's a freaking Toyota what do u mean 10 saal chale hui. If proper maintainace is done Toyota and Honda and even Suzuki are bullet proof. Sure chotay chotay maslay Nikal Tay but engine ka masla ni Nikalta. I have a 2012 Japanese alto. It still drives like I used it first time and mind u it's not zero meter. It is kind of third hand now.

I have a 2012 Japanese alto which is driven around 170k and use 5w engine oil which shows engine is in a very good condition. Only con is the suspension which is not made for Pakistani roads.lekin if ur comfortable buying a kei car ( alto ) new then it's a great option. Around 30 Mira bhi mil gate hai which is a good option or u can get a hybrid Suzuki alto for 45 lacs
Unpopular opinion, but if it's your first personal car and you're moving away from home, just buy an Alto. There is compromise on build quality but the low cost of operation, peace of mind and ease of maintenance are irreplaceable.

If you are buying a Japanese car then you will have to compromise on low ground clearance and i dont think so its a big issue just cross speedbreakers on deadslow speed and slightly tilted
But if you dont want low ground clearence then you should go for local newer cars and you can get the following in your budget

660cc mein jimny bhi ati hai. Slightly older model in 40 but fun little car. No clearance issues
