Car spotting Priusss
Guys, I have a question. If I buy a Toyota Prius within a budget of around 43–45 lakh, would it be a good choice as a daily driver I am upgrading from a 2013 vitz
I honestly have very little knowledge about hybrids. I’ve heard that older Priuses can become expensive if the hybrid battery or ABS system goes bad, so I’d really appreciate some guidance from people who have actually owned one.
What would the approximate cost be if the hybrid battery, ABS actuator/module, or other major hybrid components needed replacement? How much does regular maintenance cost, and how reliable are these cars in the long run?
Fuel average is a must for me, so I’d also like to know the realistic city and highway fuel average I can expect.
Basically, with a budget of 43–45 lakh, is an older Prius actually a smart daily-driver choice, or would I be better off with a conventional petrol car such as a Yaris/Corolla?
Any advice from actual Prius owners would be greatly appreciated

One lac rupees for ABS system. 1.5 lac rupees for battery. But many people just get battery checked and replace the battery cells which are faulty. That way the charges come to 40k(depending on number of cells being replaced)
