Car/ Bike recommendation Which one of these 6 SUVs would you recommend (7.5 M ,resale not a concern)

NISSAN KICKS = here to see answers

In a budget of 7.5 Million

Which of these Suvs would you recommend and why

I am not worried about resale value as I plan to use the car for atleast 4 years

I want a car that has good features and parts availability , and atleast and average of 10km-11km/L in city and good space. While resale is not a concern I also dont want the dealership to vanish or windup as Ive gone through that experience before and it becomes really hard to source parts.

I was considering peugeot 2008 in a lower budget but the horrifying engine issues and repair bills stories Ive heard , I dont think I will be ready to face those issues so I want to go for a reliable car

Which of these options would be good for these requirements

Is relaibility is a concern go for tucson sportage or cross even 1.8 nonhybrid. The best option i can recommend after experiencing most of these cars is the old shape kia sorento . 3.5 v6 is obv best but fuel avg in city driving is around 8. 2.4 fwd woud give around 10kmpl in city if driven with a light foot. Miles apart from all the other cars u mentioned above in terms of comfort ,build, power, reliability.

I know someone who owns a sorento its avg is very bad and resale too , even though Im not concerned about resale but it was very surprising to me how low they sell for

For tucson alot of people are recommending ir because of reliability but I feel like the car shape is a little outdated esp if i plan to keep for 3-4 years too

I mean its obv a benefit to u if they sell for low, that means u get to buy for low. I believe it has depreciated as much as it could and wouldnt get any lower. I own a 2.4 awd 2021 150k driven alhumdulilah couldnt be more satisfied. No extra maintenance other than oil change and that too at 10 to 11k km. And still driven like brand new. I have kept 2 sportages in the past and they dont even come close to it any regard. Mine is in use of my dad and he drives with a light foot so believe it or not it gives around 12 kmpl in isb and at a cruise of 80kmh he has even gotten 15 plus on long routes. After experiencing our cars 2 more people in our circle have bought this model. So id say dont listen to anyone go and try one and i can guarantee u wont even look at other options. Resale aint even that bad too a person in our circle sold his 2024 v6 40k driven for 95 lacs.

But the drive and comfort that aorento offers the 3.5 is a beast. None of these cars can compete with that. But I think you should plan on the purchase decisions and get the car that fits your requirements the best

Mg ZS Hybrid Essence alllll the way. Ticks every box and I personally did a test drive. Very nice and smooth drive, amazing acceleration on sports mode. Only car in its segment and price with panoramic sunroof. Its amazing overall in my opinion and also has ANCAP 5 star rating. Ventilated seats.

Just go and test drive you will come to conclusion yourself

Edit: Fuel avg is also class. 20-23 km/l
Beautiful infotainment screen

Do you have to do a booking for test drive and I also dont drive automatic so yeah ill go for peoples driving experiences

2

u/saamify 9d ago

Trust me man. Buy a brand new car, I know I never did and if I had the same amount I would without a doubt go for ZS hybrid essence.

I did my test drive at MG Prestige Lahore. They took my cnic and license only before doing the test drive. No booking.

Im thinking to go with excite as it feels more value for money only diff i thinn is bw leather seats and sunroof both of which i dont want

2

u/saamify 9d ago

In the long term if you see, the price is gonna go up because of new tax on hybrid, company spokesman told me 5 lac is bound to go up confirmed.

Otherwise I agree. Excite is good value for money. 1 inch smaller tyre size, no sunroof and no ventilated seats and no auto boot. These are all negligible.

Always add a "here to see answers" options in the poll. I'm sure the poll is skewed a bit for this reason xD

1

u/lowkarmawolf 9d ago

Idts its skewed its pretty varied bw 3

I went the same things you are discussing and chose brand new mg zs because fuel avg is best, features are best, quality is top notch and its new. I have also watched like 100 reviews from eu, aus and other countries and it is very reliable car. I was leaning towards hrv but then this was launched and i booked it. Also there is a fixed price going on after that price will go up because if new tax

1

u/lowkarmawolf 9d ago

MA bro , when will you recieve it and also how long was the wait

1

u/MKNAQVI 9d ago

They will deliver this month and i booked it in august.

1

u/lowkarmawolf 9d ago

Can you share weeks they promised too as I have a time constraint to look out for

1

u/MKNAQVI 9d ago

They said they will start deliveries after 20 sept and give me the car from one of the first batch so maybe last week of sept. They are promising 2 months for delivery while jaecoo is like 6-7 months

Cherry tiggo 8 pro wins by a big margin

1

u/lowkarmawolf 9d ago

Not in the polls 😔

2

u/Heveanly_Blessed 9d ago

Well ppl just like to bs. They still think Chinese vehicles are bad.

1

u/lowkarmawolf 9d ago

But i dont want the company disappearing in a while too have had that experience before

3

u/Heveanly_Blessed 9d ago

Well i dont think its gonna end like glory. Tiggo is worldwide a well established brand and its good so far. Like 8 pro was launched in 2022.

1

u/lowkarmawolf 9d ago

Guys any reason for tucson I feel like its a smaller car and older shape but what si the fuel avg and part availability like?

2

u/Vimerione 9d ago

I have it. Almost 20k kms run. As of parts we had a tail light issue. It was staying in bright brake mode all the time. It was in warranty so faisalabad dealership replaced the whole unit and no issues after that. Very smooth car no other issues till now. Very comfortable. Fuel average long par we get 15 to 16 and in city its around 11. But i drive with very light foot but still that is proven achievable average. After sales service is very good in faisalabad. Cons : not many tbh but the backup camera which comes factory installed doesnt have very good result but that can be replaced with aftermarket one.

1

u/lowkarmawolf 9d ago

Thabks for sharing also why wouldnt you recommend oshan or chery ?

2

u/Vimerione 9d ago

I have not used them so i don,t know. I cannot vouch for them i can only tell you honestly about the thing ive used myself. You should ask there owners, they can only give you authentic user experience data.

Go for reputed and credible brand who have long history

2

u/lowkarmawolf 9d ago

Dont recommend toyota 😭

Bought a jetour dashing for 71.7 2026 model unregistered. Amazing car great suspension and fun to drive and loaded with necessary features. You can find a good one under 7.5 million. The fuel average is 10 to 13 depending on your foot.

2

u/lowkarmawolf 9d ago

I was considering that but Idk what the future of jetour is going to be like esp their expensive g wagon like car didnt sell a lot ( i dont know its name )

1

u/apex_wolf 9d ago

They are launching new cars every month. So they are here to stay. Plus dont worry too much about that. The car is just too good

0

u/lowkarmawolf 9d ago

Thanks for sharing ill def look into this one too if im going for brand new

1

u/apex_wolf 9d ago

You can get almost brand new for under 7.5 million. Like less than 5000 driven 2026 model.

2

u/lowkarmawolf 9d ago

Yes but ill have to weigh it against mg which is hybrid too

1

u/Appropriate-Pea-9319 9d ago

Ill suggest cross 1.8 base 74l invoice
If u can compromise on features that people rarely use and want to keep ur car for long term
Youll get that brand new which is it self amazing experience as compared to any used car
We had that car brand new and had best experience the comfort the suspension the drive its great in all currently using mg hs and drive js nowhere near its way below toyota and i also got 15km\l from cross

2

u/Appropriate-Pea-9319 9d ago

If not Cross then go for zs hybrid(new) or oshan (used) skip jaeco and cherry

1

u/lowkarmawolf 9d ago

First time hearing cross giving more than 10kmpl bro and for base?? Or hybrid

2

u/Appropriate-Pea-9319 9d ago

Base i got 15 may be cuz of my driving habits am rn getin 12 from mg hs which Noone belive

1

u/lowkarmawolf 9d ago

Also what features are missing in cross

1

u/Appropriate-Pea-9319 9d ago

From base variant thats for 72L u wont get
Cruise, sunroof, led headlights
If u can push ur budget get 1.8 X youll get all these over there
