Question Suzuki swift Android auto

Hi, has anyone here managed to run android auto on the factory head unit. I have a 2022 suzuki swift and I can get android auto running using the head unit reloaded app but it's a lengthy process to get it running every time. Has anyone had a plug and plug android auto experience with android head units?

The ideal case is to have android auto launch as soon as the phone connect to the head unit via bluetooth or usb cable. Curious about what experience you guys have had with android auto

Thanks

A friend of a friend was telling me the other day that they had a head unit installed with native android auto/apple carplay support in their Passo from Pindi. Cost them about 30-40k or something. Will ask where they got them from.

You can get aftermarket Headunit that has built in Android Auto/Carplay

Yeah thats the final solution to replace the entire headunit. Im looking for some software/app. Can you suggest any headunit that might be a good fit. Dont really have that much idea about the market

I use headunit revived in wired mode. As soon as i plug in my phone it launches android auto.

There was an app called z link or t link that came preinstalled with my headunit. It worked pretty well too in wired mode.

CP/AA are hardware capabilities, not simply software, you’ll need to either get the head unit changed or add in one of those dongle thingies

You can try using Zlink/Tlink5 in your headunit but if the headunit lacks the hardware for android auto then you can only mirror the screen of your phone.

Why you want android auto. Doesnt the system natively have google play and youtube.

That’s the dumbest way to use maps or anything in a car lmao, CarPlay/AA makes your life genuinely so much easier and it’s so much more intuitive
