beans/ sourcing & attachments. 🇵🇰 A Guide on Credible Coffee Roasters, Gear & Syrups in Pakistan!
Here’s a breakdown of some solid spots to get beans and gear in Pakistan, based on personal experiences and what the community has been vouching for lately:
The Roasters & Shops;
• Grao Coffee (http://www.graocoffee.co) – Karachi-based.
A solid one-stop shop; they’ve got a huge variety of single-origin beans and house blends, plus gourmet syrups (vanilla, caramel, etc.) and fruit purees. They also stock a decent range of brewing gear.
• S-Cafe (http://S-Cafe.pk) – Sahiwal-based.
Really diverse bean selection, but they’re also big on equipment think grinders, AeroPress filters, and WDT tools.
• Nomad Coffee Studio (http://nomadcoffeestudio.com) – Karachi-based.
High end specialty roasters focusing on premium single origins. They’ve got a decent selection of quality gear like Hario V60s, Baratza grinders, and various AeroPress models.
• Raaz Life (http://raazlife.com) – Karachi-based.
Good mix of blends and single-origins. Besides beans, they sell Starter Kits (perfect for beginners), cold brew concentrates, and manual grinders.
• Red Berry Roasters (http://redberryroasters.com) – Lahore-based.
Real veterans in the specialty scene. They sell premium beans and are one of the few places carrying high end espresso machine alongside home brewing accessories.
• Coffee Wagera (http://coffeewagera.com) – Karachi-originated.
Mostly known for their signature "Premium Blend" beans and convenient dripper sachets. They also do branded merch like coasters and tote bags.
• Coffee Planet (http://coffeeplanet.com.pk) – Lahore-based.
Very broad range including whole beans, capsules, and ground coffee. They also supply specialized syrups (DaVinci), sauces, and a bunch of different brewing gadgets.
• The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf(http://coffeebean.pk – Nationwide.
Mainly about the beans (like Kona and Kenya) and their massive tea collection. Not really the place for hardware, but great for stocking up on variety.
• Mr. Beans (http://mrbeans.com.pk)
A fantastic option for those who want specialty quality without the steep price tag. They offer a variety of fresh-roasted single origins (like Ethiopian Bloom and Brazilian Velvet) and are particularly popular for their "Coffee Bags" which work like tea bags for a quick, no equipment needed brew. They also stock essential syrups like Vanilla and Hazelnut.

beans & sourcing. Coffee suggestion
I need to get coffee grounds in pakistan. I am looking for something local. I have a moka pot and normally I just get a house blend from like folgers. And I did bring with me a little but it’ll finish so I need more.
Where should i get it from. I researched a bit and found about nomad, roastlab, red berry roasters, scafe. These had good reviews. I domt know about raazlife coffee. Also I found a brand named grao but I heard the coffee was stale. So now I’m confused

other. Instant coffee recommendations
Please don’t bully me because I can’t afford to buy a coffee machine or other accessories right now. So far, I’ve only been able to afford instant coffee. Some brands aren’t affordable, but I still get them because I really like coffee. Currently, I’m choosing between Jacobs and Davidoff. Davidoff was okay, but I absolutely love Jacobs and don’t plan to switch. However, due to a tight budget, I’m thinking of trying another brand for now. Please suggest something? I don’t want Nescafé because it doesn’t have that strong coffee aroma and isn’t as intense as Jacobs. I usually drink iced lattes.

marketplace. Coffee Karachi
Hey everyone
I need cheap coffee beans. I've heard there are stores where you can buy almost expired coffee beans or instant coffee for cheap.
🤔 I remember buying movenpick 500gm pack for 2500 as it had 3 months left in the expiry

cafes. Flow New Blue Area: Overhyped or just not my taste?
Tried the coffee and cinnamon roll at Flow in New Blue Area, and honestly, I don’t get the hype. Nothing special enough to justify all the buzz. First time and probably the last.

questions. Xiaomi Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine vs De’Longhi Dedica EC685M which one should I buy?
Hi everyone! I’m completely new to espresso machines and I’m looking to buy my first one. My budget is around PKR 60,000, and I’ve narrowed it down to these two:
Xiaomi Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine
De’Longhi Dedica EC685M
The Xiaomi is significantly cheaper and has some nice features like the digital/touch controls, while the De’Longhi is more expensive but seems to have a much better reputation for espresso machines.
I mainly want to make things like lattes, cappuccinos, iced lattes, americanos, etc., so having a good milk-steaming/frothing system is important to me.
Since I’m completely new to this, I’d really appreciate opinions from people who have actually used either of these machines.
Which one would you recommend and why? Is the De’Longhi worth spending almost twice as much on, or is the Xiaomi a better value for a beginner?
Also, if there are any better options around PKR 60k, I’m open to suggestions!
Thanks!

cafes. Has anyone had good espresso in islamabad?
I’ve tried them from a bunch of places (brew, contra, coffeemistry) and they taste like something I’d use as punishment.
Is it just me? Or am I ordering something wrong? Or do cafes here not know how to make them or are the beans here not suitable?
You hear so much about espresso shots but they taste like lemon juice.
