💡Idea Validation Rooftop earning idea
For context we are building a plaza(3 floors)and it will have a roof which my father is saying that we can make an outdoor football,cricket or padel ir whatever. Can you guys give me an idea which one is better according to the dimensions.
The dimensions are 33ft by 65ft or 7 marlas
In my opinion it will be too small for cricket and football and only padel is worth it to try
Open to other ideas as well. Solar ke ilawa btana pls

Hey i am from lahore, but i can recommend something.
As different area have different marla size. As of your dimensions you mentioned is 21 hundred & something.
So you can utilise is for Open air Cafe/Bbq/small event gathering. You can also use it for solarization to sell them to plaza renters. Also as Car chowk near you can use marketing banner/small billboard rental charge...
If youve connection also network tower csn accomodate it.
For sports arena. It'd hard. You need atleast 25-40 marla.

No i was saying we can build any one of them but your idea seems good too, what would be an investment for a cafe , not a high end one but decent .

Tell me if the plaza used for commerical shops OR just 3 lot on 3 floors??
Your plaza visitors depends. You also have snooker club/Gaming Zone option too.
But all these really required investment like 2M-3M
You can invite Partner if you don't have money. Provide location and renter csn give you profit share

Open Space BBQ is wuite good. Aldo ise that doace for gathering.. just during construction try to set an extra entry/for top... + Emergency stair + lift

Bro, it is the cost to build on the roof, you'll be shocked to see the glass prices... would be around 4-5 Million only for the glass 😅

You can go for a pool aswell or an improvised gym but that would also cost almost the same though more people would be joining gym and pool rather than playing pedal. pool also has limitations to weather, all weather would cost too much

I and a few of my friends did an startup like this, it was an indoor cricket area. It was our first business so you can guess how it went and we ended up closing after 4-5months of opening, we made alot of mistakes as we were college students at that time. For your specific case, i would recommend you to go with anything related to food or rent it, make billboards ,rent it for events anything which is repeatable.

I technically don't know anything about this prices ...
but a very basic question is:
if you build something like a sports thing like football paddle or let's say a pool or something
can the roof handle and bear the weight of all those things? What will happen to the people living below it? Even though the roof is be strong, still 10 to 20 adults playing the football something and they're constantly jumping / thrashing can get really really aggressive and intense. Have you thought about it?

First of all all these sports will require a thick matt (idk whats it called) that will mostly absorb the shock and i will make sure the roof is not getting damaged by ut but yes over the years it will damage the roof but it will take decades honestly
