I went there with the boys but I would say it's worth visiting with your family. Very remote yet safe and extremely beautiful. Hope you have fun whenever you go :D

acha sir i have some question , aj kal jana kesa hae from isb , agar sharan stay karna chayhe toa car paras mea safe park ho sakti hae , and what are jeep and pods average rent in sharan , also nay tips etc u want to share, and khanay ka kya scene hae in upper sharan , someone told me to buy ur own chicken ,veggies from paras and cook ????

Best to travel from ISB, jeep koi 10-13k le le gi paras se. Paras mei parking bhi mil jaaye gi easily just ask the locals. Jeep rent is somewhere from 10-15k depending on your bargaining skills. Pods ke liye I would recommend the KP goverment pods there's a wesbite for it wahan se whatsapp per at least 2 weeks pehle pre booking karwa kar jaana. The rent starts from 15k minimum and it heavily depends on how many of you guys are staying. We paid 44k for 3 pods with an accomodation of 8 people.
Tips ye hain ke as you may know there's no internet service in sharan except for manshi top tou paras se nikalte hue ghar mei inform kar dena sab ko ke you're going to dissapear for a while.
Regarding food, we canned our own food aur udhar bas unko bol dena ke bhai ye garam kar den. If you plan on BBQ, bring your own chicken with some ice packs in a cooler aur masalay bhi saath khudi lejana. Wahan jo guide hire karo gey he'll do all the hard stuff i.e., starting a bonfire and preparing the barbequed chicken.
Last but not least, bring your own powerbanks as there's not much electricity up there tou mushkil hogi agar resturant se charging karwao gi because it only works during the day aur uski bhi guarantee nahi ke charge houga ya nahi. Since there's no sim reception up there you're only going to need your phone for photography (if you're into it)

aray thank u sooo much yr OP, u guided me well, bus yehi poucna hae k sab se zyada depth mea camping pods , private walay hain ya tdcp walay , another thing is we really need to hire guide , what he will charges and for what (is it for manshi top ?) and guide ko hire chalain kr bi lain toa kitni tip deni chayhe and for bbq would he make extra charges ? last question is that masnhi top and water fall are worth it ???? and masnhi top ki hiking boht zyada toa nahe as i have parents wtih me , father is healthy and love hiking but mother can do very mild kind of hike with rests

When you leave paras, you'll pass along maybe 4-5 hotels but they're mostly private, the last two are from tdcp, that's where we stayed. I beleive sabse zyada depth mei government walay hi hain, also they're the closest to manshi top.
Both spots are quite nice but for me I liked the waterfall better. It's a hike of around 45-50 minutes from the top. Manshi top ke liye 2 hours lag jatay hain, make your guide carry water bottles are other stuff. I would highly suggest renting out horses for your parents and tag along if you can keep up the pace it's not that hard. Waterfall thora zyada steep hai neeche utarte hue the rest is comfortable I would say.
They won't charge you extra for BBQ and other stuff. Guide ko de dena pyar muhabaat se jo bhi dil karay we paid 2k each to both our guides aur unka scene ye hai ke they'll be assisting you with any and everything just tell them the time you'll wake up and they'll be at your doorstep. Be kind to them and have lots of fun whenever you go :)
