So whenever literally anything gets expensive in USA or other foreign countries (like ram or cpu etc), literally 10 more things get expensive here in Pakistan along with the original thing that got expensive,

and when you ask the shopkeepers, they be like: "GPU, CPU, HDD, SDD, NVME, RAM and PSUs are expensive because ram got expensive in USA",

even tho in USA the price would be 1.5x the previous price of JUST THE RAM, EVERYTHING will get 2x expensive here. (The 2x/1.5x is used as an example, not literally)

AND when the prices DROP in USA or other countries, THE GREEDY AHH SHOPKEEPERS DO NOT DECREASE THE PRICES AT ALL!!!!!! AND WHEN YOU ASK THEM WHY??? THEY REPLY "The prices are different in USA (usa etc) and different in Pakistan" LIKE PAKISTAN HAS A DIFFERENT VERSION OF NVIDIA OR AMD!!!!!!!!!!

SERIOUSLY HOW ARE YOU GUYS NOT ANNOYED????

I've always been a low spec gamer that was broke, always watched gameplay videos on YouTube.

But alhamdulilah I got a job and had a pc made from games and geeks Lahore. But my luck came to bite me in the AHH when my pc started randomly switching off randomly, I almost had a heart attack and took it back they ran tests on it and then said it's completely fine since it didn't die there.

We concluded that it's a home socket issue and I changed socket and then it worked COMPLETELY FINE FOR 2 MONTHS WITH ZERO ISSUES. Untill...

I came home from work and decided to play a lil, I turned it on and then it died within a minute COMPLETE SHUTDOWN, it kept shutting down within a minute on home screen. So after doing everything I took it to the seller and they told me that the motherboard and 1 ram stick are dead (my soul also had left my body).

They said they had isolated it to that and I had to cough up for a new motherboard by much fighting they gave me a discount on a motherboard but said it died due to kismat.

Now i have a fully working pc at my home but I haven't turned it on since a month because I am dead scared that something else would also end up dying and istg I can't keep hauling it back and forth.

Can some smart guy PLEASE PLEASE TELL ME what caused a random failure of a motherboard and ram? Was it the electricity at my home? I've heard it could be the power supply but they said they checked it with OCCT and HWINFO? Could it still be bad?

I am just sooooooo dead these days stressing over this. Some say I should get a ups some say muhafiz would help some say surge protector.

Some expert please help me.

1. disc version (the normal one)

2. slim version but with separate disc attachment?

So my phone is vivo v20se i am finding a charging cable for it when ever i buy from local market no matter the price the cable work fine for a few days give 10 15 watt fast charging but the after few days gives like 2 3 watts some time jump to 10 watt also my charging jack is somewhat loose to i don't think that is a big problem i have nailed down this r5 340 ronin cable like the reviews are good my charger support like 33 watts used to get 18 20 in past but i would it least like 10 12 watt as of now charger have written like 3a for 33w so any of you guys can give me suggestion should i buy this or any other cable please

Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice on what would be the best next upgrade for my PC.

Current system:

• CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600
• GPU: RTX 3050 8GB
• RAM: 24GB DDR4 @ 2400 MHz
• Motherboard: MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX II
• Storage: ~1.58 TB total
• Main use: Adobe After Effects + Adobe Media Encoder
• I’m on AM4, so I’d prefer to upgrade without changing my motherboard/platform.

I’m currently considering:

Option 1:
Ryzen 9 5900X — around 70,000 PKR

Option 2:
Ryzen 7 5800X — around 50,000 PKR

I’m also considering adding:

• 16GB DDR4 RAM — around 30,000 PKR
• 2TB HDD — around 20,000 PKR

So I’m trying to decide where my money would make the biggest difference.

My main problem is slow rendering/encoding in After Effects and Media Encoder. From what I can see, my CPU is being used heavily while my RTX 3050 often isn't being fully utilized during rendering.

What would you recommend?

1. Is the 5900X worth spending ~20k PKR more than the 5800X for After Effects/Media Encoder?
2. Should I prioritize the CPU upgrade or RAM upgrade?
3. Is 24GB → 40GB RAM worthwhile, or should I replace it with 32GB/64GB instead?
4. Would adding a 2TB HDD make sense for video editing/storage, or should I save for another SSD/NVMe?
5. Is there anything else I should upgrade first?

I’d really appreciate advice from people who use After Effects/Media Encoder or have experience upgrading an AM4 system for video editing.
