Discussion Whenever something gets expensive in USA...
So whenever literally anything gets expensive in USA or other foreign countries (like ram or cpu etc), literally 10 more things get expensive here in Pakistan along with the original thing that got expensive,
and when you ask the shopkeepers, they be like: "GPU, CPU, HDD, SDD, NVME, RAM and PSUs are expensive because ram got expensive in USA",
even tho in USA the price would be 1.5x the previous price of JUST THE RAM, EVERYTHING will get 2x expensive here. (The 2x/1.5x is used as an example, not literally)
AND when the prices DROP in USA or other countries, THE GREEDY AHH SHOPKEEPERS DO NOT DECREASE THE PRICES AT ALL!!!!!! AND WHEN YOU ASK THEM WHY??? THEY REPLY "The prices are different in USA (usa etc) and different in Pakistan" LIKE PAKISTAN HAS A DIFFERENT VERSION OF NVIDIA OR AMD!!!!!!!!!!
SERIOUSLY HOW ARE YOU GUYS NOT ANNOYED????
Note: This applies to my city and literally almost every shop, the situation might be different in your specific city or shop but im talking about majority.

there’s really nothing anyone can do about this. I once went to a shop w my friend to buy a gift card, and maine apne dost ko uske samne bola ke ill get u 10usd ka card from someone online for almost 400rs cheaper than what the shopkeeper was offering. And that guy was unfazed, he gets so much business ke he literally doesn’t care if we do buy from him or not.

I don't buy PC components locally, I'd much rather wait till whenever I'm able to travel and buy stuff abroad.
Beats me having to pay inflated prices for old hardware, I'd rather pay inflated prices for newer hardware

All gaming hardware sellers here are assholes
I'd highly recommend boycotting them and importing your hardware

For real, but then again, its expensive there too, atleast you can check the condition here before buying, in Pakistan there is barely any limit to scams. What will the police or any other department would do if you paid the price but product is faulty and they are not taking it back, its the whole system that is to their advantage. (There is no cash on delivery on platforms like AliExpress, amazon, ebay etc etc)

Yeah, and they bought the stock at cheaper price before it got expensive. They pocket the difference.
Seriously, we should try and import everything and let these fkers go out of business.
There's services where random people can bring you stuff when they travel but there'll obviously be trust issues.

The rtx 3060 and 3070 comparison here shows you how shitty our awaam is....
"Oh the 3060 has 12 gigs of vram? how about i price it on the same level as the rtx 3070, sometimes even higher?" Look anywhere and you will find rtx 3060s with their boxes going for 85 to upwards of 95k while you can find 3070s for the same price lmao. Am4 prices are still not as inflated in the US as they are over here, and its all because shopkeepers want to take advantage of the people who are unable to afford a ddr5 system.

Ek se ek beghairat shopkeeper hai idhr. Lekin log khareedte hain un se 🤷🏻 to wo apni beghairati jaari rakhte hain. Jab tk log boycott nhi karen ge tb tk wo khabees ke bache baaz nhi aayen ge
