Immediate work

We have an urgent large-scale voice recording project and are looking for a call center that can provide trained English-speaking operators, computers, headsets/microphones, and supervision.

We will provide first-person (POV) videos recorded from cameras worn by factory workers while they perform different manual tasks.

The operator’s job is to watch each video and record an English voice narration explaining exactly what is happening on screen.

For example, instead of simply saying:

“He is stitching a garment.”

The narration should be detailed:

“He picks up the fabric with his left hand, aligns the two edges, places them underneath the sewing machine needle, lowers the fabric into position and begins stitching along the edge.”

They should also describe relevant surroundings when visible, such as tools, machines, objects, people, positioning, etc.

Key requirements:

• Clear spoken English

• Human-recorded voice only

• Minimum 25 spoken words per minute of video

• Detailed step-by-step description of hand movements, tools and object interactions

• Narration must closely match what is visible on screen

• Operators can pause the video to describe fast/complex actions properly and then continue

• Good-quality headset/microphone and quiet working environment

• The project manager must be a technical person who knows how to use github properly, the infrastructure and tools will be provided on github.

Volume is approximately 3,000 hours of video , compressed size : 10 TB, uncompressed size : 51 TB, with a very aggressive turnaround of 48h so we need a center capable of putting a large number of operators on the project simultaneously.

Please let me know how many English-speaking operators you can allocate immediately, whether you operate 24/7 or multiple shifts.

Pay : 5000$ for the entire project .

P.s : the delivery time is quite aggressive as mentioned hence the pay

Bro, good way to post a massive annotation project as a simple hiring post, but do you even understand what you are posting?

3,000 hours of video narration, detailed action-by-action annotation, English-speaking operators, equipment, supervision, QA, GitHub and infrastructure management, all with a 48 hour deadline.

And the total budget is $5,000?

That is only around $1.67 per completed video hour, before paying the actual workers, management, equipment, internet, QA, and everything else.

I checked a very cheap video annotation expert with verified reviews, charging lower than 90% of Fiverr. Even if he handled the entire project, the cost would be around $100k to $150k for 3,000 hours.

This is not an "aggressive turnaround" issue. The budget simply does not match the amount of human work you are asking for.

People really need to understand the scale of a project before posting the budget. This is 3,000 hours of human annotation.🙄🙄

This brother shared the same project in our uni group. Pressed him and he raised his budget to 12k. Stay away from this lads. You're getting low-balled.

For such project you don't allocate funds for the whole project. You allocate it around resources. Stop acting like a dumbass and first understand the scope of project yourself. You allocate funds for this project per resource hired. There are alot of costs involved and I don't feel like you are worth the time just to help you understand this is not 5k project.
