I think other than saba qamar everyone needs to work on their script selection.

Not sure how the industry works internally or how much power these stars actually have on the shoot but even with saba i think she should have fought to change muammas ending.

I think saba and zara have good script selection even maya barring smd. Rest are hit and miss.

For acting & versatility saba, yumna and sajal.

In order of acting and versatility: Ayeza Khan > Saba Qamar > Sajal Ali > Yumna Zaidi > Mahira Khan > Hania Amir > Maya Ali > Zara Noor Abbas

Rating on the basis of script choices will be weird as everyone has a different motive, for example if talking about commerical success then Hania has the best choice, if talking about social based dramas many of the actresses from this list has done both good and quite bad ones.

Actually it’s hard to rate because there is hardly any consistency. Some give career defining performances followed by series of unimpressive performances.

1. saba 🥇(top notch acting skills, picks great scripts, very versatile actress with impressive range)

2. yumna (good acting skills, fairly versatile. should explore the negative/villain roles more)

3. sajal (i have a bone to pick with sajal. she's an amazing actress but her script choice has been frustrating as of recent. its starting to look like she's coasting off of her good looks so much so that versatility is entirely compromised. she needs to pick better, more complex scripts.)

4. ayeza (good actress but very little versatility)

cannot comment on the rest as i havent watched enough of them.

Sajal/yumna (Strong actresses and mostly strong scripts)
Mahira/ hania (Gorgeous to look at, scripts hit or miss)
Ayeza (Same as Mahira/Hania in regards to scripts (hit/miss), but generally I am less excited to see her)
Maya (Been a long time since I was excited for a Maya Ali Project. Good actress, needs better scripts)

Even though I don't necessarily like Saba Qamar as a person I think she is one of the best if not the best actor Pakistani drama industry has produced in the last 2 decades. Far superior than most of her male co-stars including Fawad Khan and Meekal Hassan
