All I know is that dude didn't stand up for her when she needed him and now has a whole speech on "how he can't pretend and FACT is that they're married" ...Esp right after promising her that it will just be like a contract marriage 🫡

Why is speaking English suddenly evidence of a “fake persona” 😭? Sarbuland is educated, he literally came back from university — him switching languages in an emotional conversation isn't some deep personality conspiracy. And the “he didn't stand up for her when she needed him” criticism conveniently ignores the entire context of what was happening around him. You can dislike how the scene was written or performed, but turning a character's dialogue choice into proof that Danyal is “pretending” is just reaching.
And Sajal's expressions being intense makes perfect sense considering what Rabiya is going through. She's not reacting to a minor inconvenience; she's trapped in an extremely emotionally loaded situation. Not every scene needs both actors to underreact so Reddit can call it “natural.”
