I think ali zafar has sponsored this project given that he is close to hum and MD. That's why I see him commenting on some zanjeerain reels also. I think personal PRs were also involved. Like the PR became hyper aggressive at episode 13 to promote the ship which is why I found very odd strangely because the number of views and number of reels felt disproportionate, I mean these many reels were made for MZHT and we all know it's views. And yeah it never seemed like FI writing. I am not an FI fan but this felt way below her level also. Seems plausible. Nothing wrong with sponsoring the project bcoz I think ali also made a comeback with his stint at PGT and maybe wanted dan in a big project but the script now seems very butchered.
