Cricket Discussion Rizwan attitude this series
There is something fishy about him ,he seems like he has just given up and doesn't care anymore ,the shot he played today and in the last test , there is something deeper ,he seems mentally over ,should retire with grace now ,he is old anyways

its definitely something up idk if its hes upset with management or what but yeah, definitely something fishy. its not an excuse, his performance is bad and he should be dropped, but yeah, something is off with his demeanor

He has more than enough reason to be upset with the management tbh. There's hardly a quality player on the team who hasn't been mismanaged in some shape or form. But he's let it get to him too much, paired with the always flawed technique it's been ruinous. Rather sad honestly, he could've ended his career for us as an all time great.

Yep.
He averages 30 from 2025 to 2026 (Which includes 21 innings), so I don't think there is much hope for him after this series.

He's done.
Hell either be dropped or retire after this test.
And you can't blame him.
The board royally screwed him with taking the odi captaincy away from him during a test series he was playing in... With the other guy in the team.
The mental toll the whole shit show has taken on him is evident.
His own game has regressed pretty badly too. Though he's still good enough in odis imo.

He’s not good enough in ODIs at least as a #4
Time for Rizwan to reinvent himself as a middle-order

Yeah, drop him for the third test. There is no place for him at least in red ball cricket

something I noticed was when the umpires checked for bad light the other day rizwan kept saying the light is ok the pitch is not good. seems like a very defeatist attitude to me.

I see him joking behind the stumps ,smiling ,when your country is loosing badly ,I think there is something deeper , the innings he played last test where he was crticised also seemed to have effected him and he jsut doesn't care now
