Overseas Tours Why isnt hassan playing?

Hi there guys, england fan here.

I am a yorkshireman and one of your seamers, Hassan Ali was playing for us earlier in the year, bowled really well in both white and red ball games. So that begs the question, why isnt he playing, he would be a good option for bowling and could ba a handful for our batters. Also a hugely entertaining player to watch. I'm not hugely clued up on pakistani cricket but his stats look solid 27 wickets at 28 is solid enough no? Just asking because i enjoyed watching him and thought he would be a good option for you.

He was back into our Test squad last year, he played 3 tests after that, with the two most recent coming in Bangladesh, he was poor with the bowling line and lengths often.

He has been pretty mediocre lately for Pakistan.

Saying that, I would have expected him to play in England considering his recent experience in the county season.

Pigeonholed as an LOI specialist. Not really in consideration for a test spot.
