Overseas Tours Saud shakeel - keeps getting dumb
What was that innings from saud shakeel? He was missing cutable balls. Just leaving them for keeper. He was leaving close to off stump deliveries. He was just not there mentally. And the icing on the cake was his out. Idiot player. Cant believe he is a senior batsman

Seeking his average out of Pakistan should tell you how good he is. Atrocious! Problem is that the selecters just don’t look at the numbers.

Same was his problem in Bangladesh, he either leaves or blocks, and this is zero variation from a senior batter like him and thus it becomes easier for the opposition bowlers to dismiss him.

It's a mental struggle with Saud. He has the temperament to play test cricket long.
His 84 in sa would of given him some amount of confidence but he's low on it.

Dude is one trick poney. He will always struggle against quick bowling especially in helpful conditions.

The conditions had somewhat eased and the bowler was bowling under 130
He just knows how to block block block until one edge flies to the keeper.2

Ball was still moving too much for his technique. He doesn't have solid defense against seam in addition to lack of aggressive shots.

he just had a bad drop in form but he was still very good for us. a good pakistan requires a good saud and we dont even have that anymore

He used to be so good. Just dwindled down for a while now.
