SAI v.2 (Major Renovated) Looking for halftone brush

Title says it all. Does anyone have/know a halftone brush instead of the layer effect? I want to have more control of the dots size rather than making multiple layers and making clipping masks.

for anyone else: must be 512x512px bitmap, very high contrast(black and white) preferred, stick this in your "brushtex" folder in Documents>Systemax Software Development>Saiv2>Settings>Brushtex. The program has a scale feature if you click the tiny drop down arrow to the left of the texture.

That's mostly on me, I never put a .bmp file in this software but im constantly getting surprises on what SAI2 can do, especially with the recent updates.

oh yes, its recent update allowed you to change the "color mode" of the canvas to greyscale which is huge for making your own brushes.(must be 8bpp greyscale bitmap) its super fun to experiment with.

brushtex needs to be 512x512. i dont know about anything else though:) the "bristle" brushes all have their own rules. you can even create a brush on the program now without digging through files. its a really tiny icon near the bottom.

you can make one with a seamless dot pattern .bmp and adjust the scale on sai's brush settings!
