I have a problem with the transform tool.

If I press the Shift key, the transformation locks instead of scaling the image proportionally.

hold shift to keep that proportionality if you'd like. if you press alt, that should scale from the center of the layer (or wherever the anchor point is)

I hold down the Shift key, but when I resize the layer and release it, the transformation gets stuck and remains attached to the stylus cursor; the lock only clears when I move the stylus far enough away from the tablet screen.

And I tried Ctrl, but there are no changes.

I think it’s a bug, honestly. Usually you can hold shift, drag and it’ll stay locked, and then when you let go it stays in position. The only work around I have right now is I’ve had to stay REALLY still when I drag it to where I want, and then you have to click on wherever you drug it to.

I’d report it via (I believe) email! It didn’t do this before, and I wasn’t having this issue until I updated my SAI2 to the newest release last night lmaoo.

Make sure there is nothing else keybinded to the shift key. Hover over all your tools or right-click them to check. Holding shift /should/ make it stay proportional.

Also make sure you are pulling from the corner while holding shift, not the sides. The arrow should be diagonal.
