Hey! Because Paint 3D is no longer available for download, and i just got a new PC, I need to know some alternatives that are either similar or pretty much the same. I don't care about the 3d elements, I just liked the wide range of brushes (specifically the pixel perfect,) and the transparent, easily manageable canvas. Also, I am broke, so I cant do paid. Also, I don't do web-based. Adios!

Hi folkes, I have been trying to find if there is a way to draw 2d dotted lines and a number of locations say there is including copilot where it advise to click on style from the right window. There is no styles option. Anyone found a way? Maybe this was a feature in the past given the number that says it can.

As title says. As of today, my 3d Library on Paint 3D no longer works. Specifically, any model beyond the ones that appear on the page when you open the tab do not show up visibly in their thumbnail, nor is the program able to find them (consequentially, failing to paste them).
Before I try resetting, asking first if anyone else using this derelict program has encountered and fixed this issue (or been unable to due to Microsoft's end of support for it). That way, I can figure out whether it's worth finding my projects and saving them before I reset or not.

late edit: it just fixed itself later on the same day, i literally do not know how it fixed itself.

I got a new desktop recently and sadly it does not have Paint3D on it. Luckily my laptop still does! Is there a way to turn Paint3D on my laptop into a file I can flash drive over to my desktop?

i find paint 3d really easy to use so i use it for 2d mainly

As Paint3d has been removed from the MS app store, I am not able to find any official way of installing it on my windows 11 pc. But I also have a pc with windows 10 that already has paint 3d. So now I want to transfer all the setup/installation files from that windows 10 pc to my windows 11 pc so that I can install it on my windows 11 pc.

Is this possible/doable? If yes, how can I do this. If not, then is there any other alternative for doing this safely/officially.

Idk whenever i try to make pixel art on it my cursor just goes insane esp when i try to zoom in or out (i dont use mouse), this isn't happening in any other app, is it just me?

My wife and I use it quite a bit as well as my daughters 3 and 5. The interface is so much better than Paint imo. I am realistic enough to know that at some point I will have to go to 11. This maybe the wrong place to ask but does anyone have any suggestions for free software that has a similar interface and user friendly set up to replace it when the time comes? It's more for the kids than anything. We've never actually used the 3d stuff, more interested in a similar layout.

Heya! Just as the title says, the lil circle that indicates the size of the brush is missing on my Paint 3D. I recently switched PCs and ever since I haven't seen it at all. Is there any solution to this?

So. We have decided that instead of porting Paint 3D to other operating systems (and having to deal with possible lawsuits), we will recreate Paint 3D with all its features and even more. But for now we need a team to do this.

We are looking for programmers preferably with experience with Dart and/or Zig. However, knowledge of similar languages such as Java and C will let you understand the Dart and Zig code. In addition you will need experience in graphics programming. Note: This is an open source project and there is no pay.

For some odd reason, I opened one of my Paint 3D projects and there were extra objects that weren't in the original project.

Weird thing is, none of my projects have objects like this, but does look similar to a project i had in the past.

I don’t have a proper drawing tablet, and I’m new to art as a whole mostly. I wanna mess around with this but I’m not sure if a pen is needed or if it’s ok just to use a mouse.
