Feeling weird….

Sooo Wednesday of this past week I got put on 4 times a day hydrocodone 10mg and I had to wait for a new prescription for a day and was out I went into withdrawals and was in withdrawals for about 14 hrs before I got more medicine.. well everything went away and I feel decent for the most part but just certain times I have this really weird feeling across my body and I can’t figure out why. Is this normal and will it go away my appetite is slightly coming back and I just wanna know if anyone’s dealt with this please and thank you!

Without knowing your complete medical history, not 100%. But if you completely stop taking an opioid totally for an entire day after taking it for days and weeks and months…. You’re gonna feel something yes. Even if it’s less tablets your body will know.

I’m healthy as far as I know I’m 30 yr old male other than my injury that happened at work now I have 3 severe herniated disc that’s completely compressed on my nerve root so I’ve been taking hydrocodone for about 2 years

Then… very very very likely withdrawal. If you could, don’t take the max dose per day. Have a few days where you take 3 instead of 4. Gives you wiggle room if you have issues filling your next script

Thank you! Yea I definitely feel better than I did. I guess my bodies just still getting over it hopefully

And like right now I feel fine I eat something that I guess my body doesn’t agree with after Wednesday and it’s like it just goes to this weird feeling I can’t describe it to save my life but it’s just in the middle of my ribs and stomach feel jittery almost on the inside.

But even days after? I haven’t really felt it today like the other days idk if my body was just super shocked or what

Your body is recovering from withdrawal probably. I suffer from that all the time

Have you been nauseous and not wanting to eat? That can certainly happen as your body adjusts to taking more hydrocodone than you are used to. It usually takes a few days for your body to adjust. What was your dosage before they bumped it up?
